Balance Yoga is pleased to offer an introductory six-week course to those wishing to commence Yoga practice, or perhaps re-introduce Yoga practice to their routine.
Courses are run in six week cycles, with separate courses running on Tuesday (7:30pm) and Thursday (6:00pm) evenings. Start dates for this year's Beginnners' Courses can be found at the bottom of this page or in our calendar.
No previous experience with Yoga is required for these beginners courses. You will learn the basic asanas working with other students of the same level. The instructions and demonstrations that form the course will introduce you to the many lifestyle benefits Yoga delivers and provide you with excellent fundamentals for continued Yoga practice.
If you register and pay in advance for the course, you would qualify for a discount from the normal $125 beginners' course fee to $115. The course fee also includes two bonus lessons (for a total of eight lessons valid for 2 months) that you can use in any class at our Centre. *Please note, funds must be received by us prior to the course date for this discount to apply.

All you will need to start yoga at our Centre is comfortable clothing that you can train in and perhaps a sweat towel. We will supply everything else you will need (mats, bolsters, straps, etc.). If you would prefer your own mat, you can bring your own or we can supply you with a quality mat from $29.
